kurzundschön - An International Film Competition
International tv commercial motion design and short film competition for young creatives: kurzundschön the official Website. 2009 kurzundschön starts with the new category "mobile miniatures" for mobile and online application developments and concepts. The competition is open for students and trainees with focus on the moving-image media (design and film schools, art academies, broadcasting stations, production- and PR-companies).Deadline for submision is 23rd July 2009.

Santa Sangra
In course of the X-treme movie series of the Filmzentrum im Rechbauerkino they put a further Alejandro Jodorowsky film on their program: Santa Sangra, 1989.
Alejandro Jodorowsky is an absolute outstanding Chilean director, actor and author of a series of surrealistic films, such as El Topo (1970) and Montana Sacra (1973). Originally he was the designated director of Dune, before David Lynch was engaged for making this movie.

Today i want to introduce the new documentary of one of my absolute favorite photographers: William Eggleston. Notice for all car lovers: No, this issue is not about the F1 president.
